Effect 1:
You hand your spectator a set of 15 old photos and ask them with their intuition to divide the
photos into two almost equal piles, after the separation with some theatrical presentation
along with the spectator’s justifications on - what they felt while separating. Then ask the
spectator to call out the name of Helena and Archibald as he/she deals the cards once more
into two packets spelling the letters out and dealing the cards one by one after that put all
the cards together. Then you take the cards from the spectator and call out the name of
Pandora while dealing the cards and that’s it you have found the dead among the living and
more over you can also show that all the other cards on the table were blank except the one
you have on your hand!
Effect 2:
Imagine you have 15 cards in your hand. Ask the participant to deal the cards in 3 packets/piles
of 5 cards each, then ask the participant to evenly distribute the cards base on their intuition
(While distributing the cards tell the spectator to think of the three piles as the 3 heads of the
Cerberus, and dealing of the cards should resemble the information about the people whose
portrait are inside the packet of cards which are provided to the three-headed dragon). Then
ask the spectator to select any two of the piles and then you gather all the packets/piles
together and do it once more in the same way as the previous time. Then you take the cards
from the spectator and call out the name of Pandora while dealing the cards and that’s it you
have found the dead among the living and more over you can also show that all the other
cards on the table were blank except the one you have on your hand!
