Ordinary Rope.
Ordinary deck of cards.

A Card is selected. It is lost in the deck by the spectator.
A Rope is shown. It is not gimmicked in any way and can be handed out for examination.
An empty Hat is shown. Rope is placed inside the Hat. Cards are put on the Rope.
A knot is made on the Rope.
When pulled, selected card is inside the knot.
Diabolical method.
