Kirk Stiles - Magic and Spells Quarterly

Magic and Spells Quarterly, “A journal of secret methods, procedures, and, where possible, spells and enchantments, to bring about surprise and delight”, was a publication featuring close-up magic from Kirk Stiles out of Hollywood, Florida.

    Stiles also did the illustrations.

No. 1 (Summer 1970) contributors were Norman Houghton, Ace Gorham, Karl Fulves and Stiles in the eight page issue.

No. 2 (1971) featured a card trick by Ed Marlo and a Horace Bennett Coin Trick.

No. 3 (1971) contained ten pages from Bruce Cervon, Harry Lorayne, Duke Stern and Stiles.

No. 4 (1972) was an issue on coin magic with routines from Allen Shaw (via Gerald Kosky), Milt Kort, and Marlo.
There was also a supplement “Deceivers’ Special” published in 1971.
