'Excalibur-Overdrive'- Magician makes a prediction and sets it to the side; it remains in plain sight the entire time and is never switched out.
Any ordinary deck is shuffled and than cut into two piles. Spectator is asked to choose either pile. Whichever pile is selected is the pile that will be used for the remainder of the effect (no 'magician's choice'). The spectator than selects a card from that pile under the fairest conditions possible, and yet it matches the original prediction!
