Pick a book, any book!

The performer is joined by a volunteer in front of the audience. She fairly chooses a book from those on display, and from there she and the audience are taken on a journey of discovery. The performer supplies a stunning character profile, a quick reading, and then plucks from the volunteer's mind a scene from a book in which the volunteer imagined herself as the hero. This is a classic Voodini routine combining mainstream mentalism with elements of cold reading and the esoteric, done as only Voodini can!

This three stage routine is suitable for stage or parlour, and can be expanded upon to create a good hour-long show or edited down to be a quick 10 minute routine. As with all Voodini routines, there is room here to add your own ideas and elements. Bibliotheque is not a book test but there is the perfect opportunity (explained in the manuscript) for it to include a traditional book test should you so wish.
